Social on State prepares for its annual New Year’s Eve event

Although the event will be slightly scaled back compared to 2018, Yonaty says he is hoping the event continues to attract people to Binghamton. Co-Owner Mark Yonaty told 12 News the restaurant will have two sittings of a three-course meal, a DJ and fireworks. He also told 12 News preparations for the event can take up to seven months. The fireworks show will be free to the public. “We don’t want to brag but we’re told we are the best New Year’s Eve event in town,” Yonaty said. “The ball drop is really spectacular, the fireworks show’s phenomenal, it definitely gives you a sense of a bigger.”last_img
